Chili Pepper

Bell pepper, also known as sweet pepper or a pepper (in the UK) and capsicum (in Australia and New Zealand), is a cultivar group of the species Capsicum annuum (chili pepper). Chili peppers originated in the Americas. Chilies were cultivated around the globe after Columbus. Diego Álvarez Chanca, a physician on Columbus' second voyage to the West Indies in 1493, brought the first chili peppers to Spain, and first wrote about their medicinal effects in 1494. There are different types and shapes of peppers.

Antalya is the most pepper varieties to grown in the areas of Kumluca, Finike and Demre.

Pepper is one of the vegetables, the fruit is used in different variations. Fresh, pickles, fried, frozen products, sauce, paste, paprika powder, canning, paparika juice, spices. Addition to all these matters it is also used for drug and coloring.
